Some said that they had heavy commitments in other subjects and also work commitments. Others said they had difficulty with blogger access, ie. logging on or no access at home. Some looked a bit embarrassed and others just said "too bad".

One thing that emerged was that other teachers set a clear deadline for HW and that since I had not done that some students had put that other HW first, ahead of mine.

So, I asked them again to do it and have just marked it then. Now I have 10 students out of 21 have made a reasonable effort.

It's not quite as bad as it looks because I do have a group of students in the class who are new arrivals from African countries who seem to have never used computers before arriving in Australia maybe 2 or 3 years ago. When I go through the list I think there are only 2 0r 3 there who simply chose not to do the HW, after a bit of nagging from me.

w3schools site: HTML

HTML Tutorial
http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

Questions (copy, paste and answer in your blog):

HTML files must end with what letters?

What does the / mean in a tag, for example,
blah blah

Everything that appears on the web page itself goes in between what tag?

Where does the information inside the
rocket science
tag appear?

Name three browsers

What does a browser do to the HTML?

Should tags be written in UPPER CASE or lower case?

What is an attribute?
